After many years of biking holidays, the idea of starting a motorbike camping was hatched.

And where else would we undertake this than in our favourite holiday destination: France.

At the end of an extensive search for a property, we ended up at a charming cottage in St. Pardoux la Croisille, through a real estate agent, in April 2005.
It was love at first sight. We were both very enthusiastic about the house and its neighbourhood was very appealing to us as well.

The provisional contract of sale was swiftly signed and in November 2005, the contract was definitive at last.

In 2006 and 2007 we have been busy applying for permits for our camping. This takes lots of time in France. One's patience is put to the test, but in the end one surrenders to the French way of doing things. In the end however, after a very long waiting period, the permit was approved in February 2008.
Now we can get going!
From April 2008 onwards, renovations are under way. The barn will be equipped with sanitary fittings,
a kitchen and reception desk.
